This is a pattern book. The book comes apart for easy access to the full size pattern. The instructions includes a color chart with the fabrics used in Blue Lace. Time saving tips on construction and diagrams are part of the instructions. The foundation range of fabrics for Blue Lace are seven colors for the flowers, seven colors for the leafs plus the vine and stem colors and of course the background. Yardage is given for full size quilt. Blue Lace was designed for the Dutchess Heritage raffle quilt 2007 in collaboration with Linda Dearing. This quilt was inspired by Carla Kilkelly quilt titled FINALLY. The appliqué blocks are an original design by S.J. Greener using the three styles, Hawaiian, Wreath, and Four Flower rotation as found in the quilt FINALLY which were originally designed by Patricia Cox. The center flower block is symmetrical. The appliqué border was designed as sections, making it easy to travel and work on.Finished size 94" x 94" book/pattern $20.00 All profits from the pattern will be donated to the Dutchess Community College Scholarship Foundation |
