The Appliqué Quilt
The Appliqué Quilt is a favorite for many people whether, done by hand or by machine.  The lecture will cover the methods, advantages and disadvantages of needle turn, invisible stitch (aka: ladder stitch), freezer paper technique and machine appliqué.  Finished quilts and quilts in progress are included to illustrate the appliqué quilt.

Quilting Section by Section
Has trying to quilt a large quilt on a home sewing machine got you down?  Quilting in sections is a great way to make a large quilt on a your small sewing machine.  The lecture will cover my exploration and creation of quilts by sections.  Many times people have argued that the final quilt could not possibly been made in section!

Quilting Designs: How do we get them on our quilts?
This lecture will discuss 10 ways to get the design on your quilt and ready for quilting.  These techniques range from traditional to innovative.  There will be quilts using these techniques to show finished results.

Making a Group Quilt
Oh no!  How do we get so many people to make a quilt that works?  Here are some helpful suggestions.  Featured will be the Akwesasne quilts made by the Piecemakers of New Paltz along with their story.  I have been involved in the details for making a successful quilt on a yearly basis.

Trunk Show
Successful experiences in design and color.  Discussing different techniques I've used to overcome problems in quilt making.
