This class teaches the technique I developed for appliqué while design problem solving. My appliqué technique has been rated as excellent by AQS judges for my Birds of a Feather, which won Best of Show. The choice of pattern is flexible for class. I have been known to create new designs for workshops to meet your groups desire. Flower's of Somer's is such a design

Curved Piecing
This class teaches the quilter how to sew a quilt top using curved seams. Pattern choice from flowers to landscapes or the In the Jungle pattern.

Paper Piecing Without Sewing Through The Paper!
Don't like sewing through the paper? Do you find the lack of directional control of your seam allowance frustrating? Try my class on Paper Piecing.

Machine Quilting
This class has many variables that can meet the needs of your group. Techniques that can be covered are basic machine quilting, machine trapunto, free motion, framing and mitered corners, and binding. Consultation for the exact content of the class is required. The goal will be to produce a small machine learning quilt. This class can be a two-day class depending on the content required.

Section by Section Quilting
Has trying to quilt a large quilt on a home sewing machine got you down? Here’s your answer for professional results without stressing over machine quilting! I will teach you how to make that queen size quilt without straining with a large quilt in your sewing machine. This techique will give you a traditional finished look for your quilt with a lot less stress on your shoulders and back. Someone is sure to argue with you that your quilt couldn’t possibly have been done in sections.
